Join with your Annapolis friends and neighbors next Saturday morning as we gather once again to wave signs on Forest Drive. The mission: to show our concern over the proposed 111-acre mega-development Crystal Spring and the impact it will have on our city’s environment, traffic and schools.
Some 50 to 75 of us participated in a similar event last December; let’s double that number on Saturday and send an even stronger message to the developers and our soon-to-be-elected city officials that enough is enough! We don’t need a forest destroyed only to be replaced with yet another shopping center, 500+more living units and an 80-room hotel and spa.
We’ll wave signs on Forest Drive, between Spa Road and Hilltop Lane, from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday Sept. 28. Bring a sign reflecting your concerns about the development. Bring your children, your dogs, your imagination. Let’s show Democracy in action. Help us stand up for the environment, against more traffic and even more overcrowded schools.
